dear readers:.
the following story was a product of imagination and the influence of the films "rebecca," "beauty and the beast," "unbreakable," "signs" and "harry potter.
" i hope you enjoy it; it's my favorite.. coco.
It may be that it is just like that.
getting old is one of the most beautiful things in my life.
sure, i get tired easily and i have my physical limitations but it is a wonderful place nonetheless!.
perspective!
what age are we talking about?
i, like otwo in another thread, never really had a bad experience with jws.
i never had any case of molestation come up in the the many congregations i served in.
i never had any major beefs with any elder body.
Something you said reminded me of the meeting me and my husband had with the elders who told us we could say whatever we wanted to each other but not to the congregation it would affect their faith. if you have doubts keep them to yourself.
we thought this isn't going to work something is really wrong here.
something jeremiah said comes to mind.
and in my heart it proved to be like a burning fire shut up in my bones and I got tired of holding it in and I was unable to endure it.
We knew we couldn't keep our mouths shut I felt screams rising up inside of me at the meetings.
my husband was brought up in the faith since around the age of three years old.. he stopped believing their crap when he was a teenager and indeed didn't attend for many years.
however, even though he moved over 100 miles away from his parents his mother visited him and got the local congregation to put pressure on him.
she also telephoned and wrote to him regularly to make sure he attended.. his parents in the past have been treated very badly by the jws (long story) but they are still in the thick of it despite being in their eighties.. my husband thinks that because his mother converted she could never admit that she is wrong and for this reason will not stop attending.. just wondered what others thought on the subject?.
these days most are born ins because as far as I could see seldom was there a young adult from outside getting baptized or any age really most had some witness connection.
so right now the exodus is mostly born ins
I though was converted at the door when I was 35 with no witness connections and I will admit "I MADE A BIG MISTAKE" it wasn't the truth so I left.
From all the experiences I've heard here I'm glad I wasn't raised in it.
i'm asking because i just watched "the road".
it may not be the saddest but it's up there.
"my sister's keeper" was a real tearjerker too..
When I was a kid I loved the movie Mighty Joe Young and I cried when he rescued the children from the burning orphanage. The remake wasn't the same as the one I loved made in 1949.

I don't know the story behind all of this.
Since the wtbs believes they are gods minions any person, organization, government or human rights groups that oppose them in any way don't deserve the truth and they have no qualms about bolding lying or signing documents never intending to honor them. they will lie in court and deliberately deceive.
They believe anything to protect the organization is ok. They also lie and deceive in the literature and from the platform.
praise jah!
from the same true christianstm who brought you throwaway families, we now have disposable pets.
heart-warming story as lewis finds new home.
There is nothing I want to do that would cause me to part with my little old lady diabetic kitty. she belongs to us no matter what and we will take her wherever we go till death do us part.

There are some intense sad scenes in movies one that got me was in The music box with Jessica Lange. The scene in the car when she is smiling at first as the music box plays then her smile turns to sobbing and realization as the photos pop out showing the horrible things her father did in ww2 and she sobs and looses it over the betrayal its quite a moment.
